MIAMI (September 9, 2016) – Endeavor Miami announced today that another local company will be added to its growing portfolio of Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Miami-born and bred Pincho Factory is now the 15th Endeavor company from Miami, after being selected into the program at Endeavor Global’s 66th International Selection Panel (“ISP”) held in Boston from Sept. 7-9th.
Pincho Factory, a fast-casual culinary brand created by cousins Nedal and Nizar Ahmad and Otto Othman, brings elevated street food to a casual setting. Based on a dining concept centered around an eclectic menu of natural burgers and kebabs, Pincho Factory has already expanded to six locations in South Florida and has 15 stores in the pipeline.
“We are absolutely thrilled to now be a part of Endeavor’s network and are eager to see our family business continue to grow,” said Nedal Ahmad. “We have big plans for the future, and with Endeavor’s world-class mentorship opportunities and resources, we know that Pincho Factory will continue to thrive in Miami and beyond,” said Othman.
“We are excited to add Pincho Factory to our growing portfolio of entrepreneurs in the F&B sector” said Laura Maydón, Managing Director Endeavor Miami, “and we’re looking forward to offering them a suite of services to help them accelerate their growth.”
Endeavor’s ISP is the culmination of a rigorous selection process where panels composed of top global business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors, interview candidates about their business model, high-impact leadership potential and timing. Steve McKean, a serial entrepreneur and Endeavor Miami mentor, participated as a panelist at this ISP. In order for an entrepreneur to be selected, they must receive a unanimous vote from the entire panel. The panel consisted of sets of six global business executives, who interviewed Pincho Factory and gave targeted feedback to each of the founders during the ISP.
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Pincho Factory into the Endeavor Miami family,” said Matt Haggman, Knight Foundation’s Miami Program Director and Endeavor Miami Board Member. “The founders of this company embody what it means it be an Endeavor Entrepreneur: innovative, forward-thinking and eager to foster the growth of our Miami entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
Endeavor Miami launched its operation in September 2013 with the support of the Knight Foundation and possesses an active local board of business leaders that believe high-impact entrepreneurship can transform Miami.
Endeavor Entrepreneurs receive services that include mentorship, access to capital, access to global markets and access to talent. For more information on Endeavor Miami, or to nominate Miami entrepreneurs, please visit www.endeavormiami.org.
