We see Abi, Endri and Taher as innovative tech leaders transforming consumer engagement through virtual reality and immersive technologies
An immersive technology company has been added to Endeavor Miami’s growing portfolio of Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Endeavor Miami announced today that YouVisit is now the 16th Endeavor Miami active company, after being selected at Endeavor’s 74th International Selection Panel (ISP), held in Brooklyn from Sept. 11-13. The company was founded in 2010 by Abi Mandelbaum, Taher Baderkhan and Endri Tolka.
YouVisit is powered by its award-winning production studio and Aria, its proprietary enterprise platform that enables brands and organizations to interact with and convert audiences through interactive 360-degree experiences. The company engages consumers across mobile, desktop and virtual reality for more than 800 clients, including the U.S. Army, Hewlett-Packard, Hilton, Yale and the city of Houston. YouVisit has won several awards, including first place at VR Fest 2016 and 2017, as well as the Science and Technology Samsung Creator Award.
“As we expand our physical presence in Miami, Endeavor will support us in scaling across the U.S. and internationally,” said Abi Mandelbaum, co-founder and CEO of YouVisit. “Endeavor’s global entrepreneurial community will contribute to our company’s international growth, and joining Endeavor is certain to be a driver to achieve our goals faster.”
Endeavor’s ISP is the culmination of a rigorous selection process where panels composed of top global business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors interview candidates about their business model, leadership potential and timing. In order for an entrepreneur to be selected, they must receive a unanimous vote from the entire panel. Each panel consisted of sets of six world-class business leaders, who interviewed YouVisit’s co-founders, giving them targeted feedback.
“We see Abi, Endri and Taher as innovative tech leaders transforming consumer engagement through virtual reality and immersive technologies,” said Laura Maydón, managing director of Endeavor Miami. “Having achieved impressive growth and traction, these three entrepreneurs will be inspirational role models for our Miami tech ecosystem. As Endeavor helps YouVisit scale, I hope their success will bring attention to the quality of the work that’s being done in South Florida tech.”
Endeavor Entrepreneurs receive services that include mentorship and access to capital, global markets and talent. Having launched its operation in September 2013 with the support of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Endeavor Miami possesses an active local board of business leaders that believe high-impact entrepreneurship can transform Miami.
“The network and diversity of Miami startups that are now part of the Endeavor network is testament to the growth of Miami’s innovation ecosystem over the last four years,” said Chris Caines, Knight Foundation interim program director for Miami. “Endeavor continues to make an impact in Miami, working to ensure the success of some of the city’s brightest ideas.”
