Daniel Echavarria

Managing Partner, Ganolian Investments Co.

Daniel Echavarria is Managing Partner of Ganolian Investments and is a Director of Organizacion Corona, Sodimac Corona and Corona Industrial and serves on several of the investment and audit committees of the companies. He currently chairs the investment committee of Fundacion Corona, a Colombian philanthropic organization focused on promoting social mobility through education programs. He served as Chairman and Director of Fundacion Corona until 2014. In 2001 he co-founded TeRespondo.com, a pioneer in search engine advertising in Latin America which was acquired by Yahoo. Daniel also served on the Family Council of Organización Corona in various leadership positions between 1999 and 2006. Apart from his entrepreneurial and director experience, Daniel also has investment banking and investment management experience after having worked at boutique M&A firm in 2001 and investment management firm from 2007 to 2008. He has a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a BS in Business Administration with distinction from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
