Sion Tesone

Sion Tesone is the Founder and CEO of TISSINI, a for-profit social enterprise that allows underprivileged U.S. Hispanic women to earn extra income to provide for their families. It is a single-level direct sales (DS) company that seeks to develop close relationships with its client base (called Emprendedoras) and support them through their sales process. The model focuses on selling exclusive, quality products to the Emprendedoras’ natural social network, rather than focusing on recruiting distributors to develop a vertical network. In 2019, Inc. Magazine ranked TISSINI as the 10th fastest growing private corporation in the U.S. retail industry.

Sion was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2019, joining a prestigious network of high impact entrepreneurs around the world. That same year, Inc. Magazine ranked TISSINI as the 10th fastest growing private corporation in the U.S. retail industry and Sion was recognized as a Founder to Watch by the Startup Weekly. In 2020, TISSINI was ranked 64th in the Financial Times’ “The Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies” list which ranks 500 companies from North, South, and Central America.

Sion earned his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1998 and completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program in 2013. In 2010, he joined the Miami Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and has held several positions in its Executive board. He was also awarded the Harvard Business School “Making a Difference Award” for being a leader who brings positive changes to the world of business and his community. 

As an avid athlete, Sion enjoys swimming, kite surfing, and scuba diving. He currently lives in Miami with his wife and three children.
