June 23th 2021 – Miami, FL – Endeavor Miami will be hosting its first Pitch Competition for Black founders, in partnership with The Miami Herald and Microsoft for Startups. The Pitch Competition will take place virtually on Wednesday, June 30th from 3:00pm to 5:15pm.
Ten early-stage, industry-agnostic, and South Florida-based companies have been selected to participate in the competition and will be pitching to a panel of esteemed judges featuring Jane Wooldrige, Business and Visuals Arts Editor at Miami Herald, Mariano Amartino, Director for the Americas at Microsoft for Startups, and Marcell Haywood, Founder & CEO at Encompass and Endeavor Entrepreneur. Three winners will be selected and receive non-dilutive cash prizes including access to Microsoft for Startups program, which includes $25K in Azure credits and technical consulting sessions. The first place winner will also receive a spot in one of Endeavor Miami’s Growth Programs (once they meet necessary criteria).
