Miami, FL, October 22, 2024  – Endeavor Miami proudly announces the selection of its EndeavorLAB Women Founders Cohort, consisting of 10 high-growth companies led by a diverse group of women entrepreneurs. This cohort represents a dynamic mix of industries, backgrounds, and business models, reflecting Endeavor Miami’s commitment to empowering high-impact female founders and fostering inclusive economic growth. This initiative is part of a JPMorgan Chase and Tech Equity Miami grant, a cohort also supported by  Venture Miami.

The cohort consists of 14 co-founders, and the founders represent a variety of backgrounds: 10 are Latinx, 3 are of Israeli descent, and 1 is white. The businesses showcase a range of leadership structures, with six companies led by women, four of which include at least one male co-founder. The cohort also reflects the strength of team-based leadership, with seven companies having multiple co-founders, while three are driven by solo women founders.

The selected companies highlight the diverse economic landscape, operating across various sectors. The cohort includes three healthcare companies, three fintech companies, two B2B SaaS companies, and two travel and hospitality companies. Seven of the businesses focus exclusively on B2B models, while the remaining three have integrated both B2B and B2C strategies. On average, the companies have been in operation for three years, with 80% founded within the last four years, showcasing a trend towards younger, fast-growing ventures.

The companies demonstrate strong growth potential and business traction, collectively employing 106 people with company sizes ranging from 2 to 30 employees, and a median of 7. In 2023, these businesses generated a combined $1.1 million in revenue, with an average of $113,000 and a median of $44,000 across the cohort. Projected net revenues for 2024 signal significant expansion, with the cohort forecasting over $6 million in combined revenue, supported by a median year-over-year growth rate of 146% and an average growth rate exceeding 1,000%.

“EndeavorLAB’s newest women’s cohort underscores the organization’s mission to support high-impact entrepreneurs who are shaping industries and contributing to the local and global economy,” said Claudia Duran, Regional Managing Director for North America and of Endeavor Miami. “These founders are making strides across sectors, from healthcare innovations to fintech solutions, and we are excited to support their journeys to scale.”

Reflecting on his experience with these remarkable entrepreneurs, Kevin Huntting, Founder of Lead FORWARD, Transformational Leadership Coach and Endeavor Miami Mentor, said, “I had the absolute joy of working with an incredible group of female entrepreneurs this past Tuesday, and let me tell you, it was invigorating! We gathered for a vibrant 90-minute session where we dove deep into the transformative power of vulnerability as a tool to fuel performance. Through interactive discussions and activities, we explored how vulnerability isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a strength that can propel us to greater heights in our businesses and lives.”

Through EndeavorLAB, this cohort will gain tailored mentorship, strategic workshops, and curated networking opportunities to accelerate growth. The program equips founders with the tools and connections needed to scale their businesses, secure funding, and expand their market reach—driving innovation in Miami and beyond.
