This past Wednesday, July 28th, Endeavor Miami held their Endeavor Pitch Competition for Florida-based companies in partnership with Dell. Ten entrepreneurs pitched their companies virtually to a panel of judges including Endeavor Entrepreneur Federico Robbio, Endeavor Entrepreneur Endri Tolka, Endeavor Miami’s Head of Entrepreneur Selection & Growth Derek Barnett, Dell for Entrepreneurs US Lead Lucas Chaya del Pino, Director of Gaming Business Development at Dell Claudina Lopez, and Development Lead for Dell Technologies Justin John.
Each participant was allotted five minutes to pitch their companies. The first three minutes were used by the entrepreneurs to present their companies. The last two minutes of their time was reserved for a Q&A section with the judges.
Following the pitches Program Manager for Dell’s Small Business Strategic Partnerships Program, YJ Lin, gave us a look into Dell’s offerings for growing businesses. At this time judges were in deliberations and the audience were casting their votes for their two favorite companies.
The competition concluded with the announcement of the two winners who would go on to receive prizes of $4,000 and $6,000 in Dell Products for second and first place respectively. In second place was entrepreneur Anastasia Mikhalochkina (Founder) of Lean Orb, and in first place was Entrepreneur Ryan Rosenbaum (Co-Founder) of Phlex.
Phlex will go on to compete in Dell’s final pitch competition on September 15th competing for the opportunity to win $15,000, $10,000 or $5,000 in cash prizes.
