Lluis Faus
Founder & Former CEO, vLex
Lluis Faus is the founder and former CEO of vLex, an AI-powered legal intelligence company acquired by Clio in a $1 billion transaction. Over more than two decades, he helped build vLex from a legal technology startup into a global platform combining legal content, data, search, analytics, and artificial intelligence to serve lawyers, law firms, corporate legal departments, and institutions across jurisdictions and languages.
Under his leadership, vLex expanded internationally through organic growth and strategic M&A, including the acquisitions of Justis in the U.K. and Fastcase in the U.S., creating one of the world’s most comprehensive legal data and intelligence platforms. Following vLex’s acquisition by Clio, Lluis continues to contribute as a strategic advisor, working with executive, product, and content teams on the next generation of AI-enabled legal workflows.
His operating experience spans company building, international expansion, M&A, legal data strategy, and the application of artificial intelligence to complex professional knowledge markets. As an investor and mentor, Lluis focuses on entrepreneurs building durable technology businesses, particularly where AI, proprietary data, workflow, and domain expertise create long-term advantage.
As a member of Endeavor Miami’s Board, he supports high-impact founders with strategic guidance, international perspective, and firsthand experience scaling a technology company to a global $1 billion exit.
