July 21, 2021 – Miami, FL – Following three successful cohorts, Endeavor Miami announces the continuation of its ScaleUp Program. For Cohort Four, this selective program will choose up to ten startups for a four-month acceleration program designed to support leading early-stage companies with strong impact potential in the Florida ecosystem to scale.

Scale-ups – companies at least three years old with a minimum of 20% CAGR – are important to the development of an economy because once they hit moderate scale or greater, they have the potential to generate 80% of jobs in Miami. However, Endeavor Insight research shows that 99% of startups in Miami die before reaching 5 years of operation. Thus, Endeavor Miami decided to offer their services and community to bridge the gap between startups and scale ups with support that actually helps companies scale. The ScaleUp Program leverages Endeavor’s methodology through mentorship, peer-to-peer support and expertise in scale ups in order to help more entrepreneurs prepare for organized growth.

The selected companies will have access to individual mentoring, group modules made up by guest speakers and roundtable discussions, legal pro-bono support, storytelling training, media exposure, talent recruiting, investor introductions and other services. Notably, the program provides access to Endeavor’s invaluable network through which they can learn from other founders’ experiences in scaling up high-growth companies, developing meaningful personal networks and business relationships.

The ScaleUp Program has supported 26 companies over the past three years, including notable local success stories such as Caribu founded by Max Tuchman and Alvaro Sabido, Cargobot founded by Catalina Machado, Fernando Correa and Gustavo Medina, and Skyloom founded by Marcos Franceschini and Santiago Tempone.

“I was really impressed with all of the presentations,” said Guillermo Younger, Founder & CEO of CIELO “The Q&A sessions were fantastic. The speakers were very knowledgeable, and I got a lot of value from the insights shared”, he added.

“Endeavor’s framework for pitch prep was an excellent tool to streamline the ideas and structure the pitch. The team activities were very helpful, showing us the power of analyzing different points of view within the cohort.” Leonardo Gannio, Founder & CEO, MAGIIS.

Applications are open from July 19 through August 8. Eligibility criteria, more information, and applications are available at https://mailchi.mp/endeavor/miamiscaleupprogram.
