Last week nine North Atlantic Endeavor Offices met in-person in Boston, Massachusetts for a North Atlantic retreat to build interoffice rapport and align with mutual goals for success as a region. The offices included Atlanta, Canada, Colorado, Detroit, Louisville, Miami, Northwest Arkansas, Puerto Rico, and Western New York.
Offices participated in an Ask Me Anything panel with Endeavor President Adrian Garcia-Aranyos to gain insight into what the region can be doing better to support the continued growth of high-impact entrepreneurship. This was followed by six working sessions defining issues and concrete approaches to solutions with the most prominent takeaways being uniting the region’s mentor databases and calling for an in-person regional Local Selection Panel starting in 2022.
Endeavor staff also participated in the inaugural Endeavor Olympics in which six teams divided amongst the nine offices competed in five rigorous athletic events: archery, cornhole, ladder-toss, potato sack races, and three legged races. The winners were team KB comprising of team Captain Canem Arkan (Managing Director for Endeavor Northwest Arkansas), Rachel Kazungu (Endeavor Atlanta), Raechele Gray (Endeavor Louisville), Tim Barr (Endeavor Louisville), and Eric Marroquin (Endeavor Miami).
With a majority of staff members meeting each other in person for the first time, a new sense of unity has been established for the North Atlantic region. This event marks the start of more coordinated regional efforts.
