This Black History Month, we are lending our platform to our Black founders. Today we hear from Nadia Davis, founder of Show Agents and participant in our 2022 EndeavorLAB Cohort for Black Founders. Below is her spotlight.

My name is Nadia Davis and I am the CEO and founder of Show Agents. The Show Agents platform connects Realtors to OnDemand local showing assistants that can show properties on their behalf for a flat fee. I became an entrepreneur after witnessing my father’s struggle with work-life balance as a real estate broker. One Thanksgiving Day, in particular, we arrived over 2 hours late to Thanksgiving dinner because of a showing appointment. That was the day I recognized a real pain point for Realtors, they needed the ability to be in two places at once. I set out to create a solution that enabled Realtors to achieve work-life balance and increase their productivity. That’s what being a founder means to me. Identifying a real pain point and delivering a solution. We are problem solvers. 

My words of advice to other founders out there that look like me is simple:
One, start now. Don’t wait until your product or service is perfect. Get out there, start creating. Start testing. Start speaking to your target audience. Secondly, don’t give up. Most people fail because they give up. So don’t stop. Be persistent and keep pushing forward. Last but not least, don’t be afraid to ask for help and
